Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, Brookside Middle School will become Gulf Coast Academy of Innovation & Technology @ Brookside, a district-wide middle school magnet offering advanced, rigorous coursework delivered through hands-on learning in robotics, machining, and technology-rich science and research. Students apply high-level academic concepts through inquiry, problem solving, and real-world experiences that prepare them for future academic success.
