Sarasota County Schools is pleased to announce that Mrs. Kaitlin Randlett has been appointed as the new Principal of Tatum Ridge Elementary School. She will assume her new role effective Wednesday, July 1.
“I am honored to join the Tatum Ridge Elementary School community,” said Randlett. “I am deeply committed to building a collaborative, inclusive school environment where high-quality learning is possible for every student, every day. I look forward to partnering with families, staff, and students to foster strong relationships, high expectations, innovation, and joyful learning.”
Mrs. Randlett currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Tuttle Elementary School, a role she has held since 2025. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant Principal at Venice Elementary School from 2017 to 2025. In her role, she led the implementation of high-impact professional learning communities focused on instructional alignment and student outcomes, contributing to measurable schoolwide gains, including a 6-point increase in ELA proficiency at Tuttle Elementary and sustained proficiency growth at Venice Elementary from 69% to 77%.
Mrs. Randlett also served as an Elementary Instructional Specialist for the School District of Manatee County, a School Based Instructional Coach at Bayshore Elementary School, and an Elementary Classroom Teacher at Bayshore Elementary School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Florida Southern College. Mrs. Randlett also earned a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from the University of South Florida and an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision (K-12) from National Louis University.
Throughout her career, Randlett has demonstrated a strong commitment to instructional excellence, collaborative leadership, and cultivating safe, relationship-centered school communities.
