Hello Gulf Gate Families!
I want to start by sharing how incredibly proud I am of the amazing growth our students are showing in their reading scores. Our Tigers are jumping buckets like crazy, and we are so excited to celebrate their hard work and success! We are officially halfway through testing for grades 3–5, and our students are doing an outstanding job.
This week, our focus shifts to FAST Math testing:
🧮 3rd Grade: Tuesday
🧮 4th Grade: Wednesday
🧮 5th Grade: Thursday
You can help your child “jump a bucket” in math by making sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time and ready to shine on testing day. We know our Tigers are ready to show their amazing knowledge!
💛 Thank You for an Incredible Staff Appreciation Week
Our staff has never felt more appreciated than they did last week. Staff Appreciation Week was an incredible success, and we cannot thank our students, families, and especially the Tiger Tribe, enough for all of the love, support, treats, and generosity shown throughout the week. Please know how much we appreciate all of you!
📚 Media Book Reminder
All media books should be returned to the media center as soon as possible. If your child has a missing book, please help them look around at home and locate it to avoid replacement fines.
