It’s Miller’s Minute time and we have some quick updates for all of our Gulf Gate Families.
· Our FAST testing continues this week for grade 3. Wednesday will be Grade 3 FAST Reading and Friday is Grade 3 FAST Math. Our students and staff have worked hard to prepare, but we need your help. Please make sure students get a good night’s rest, wake up in enough time for a healthy breakfast, and get to school on time on testing days.
· Our first grade will be having Fire and Safety visits all week. Be sure to ask them about what they have learned.
· Please plan on joining our PTO (Parent and Teacher Organization) meeting this Thursday at 3:30 in the media.
· May 2nd is an exciting night at GGES. First, we have an art auction from 5:30-6:00pm. Then, if you made a reservation, our STEAM night will be following that. It is sure to be a fun night.
· Did you know Friday is School Lunch Hero Day? Please be sure to remind your child to say, “Thank you for all you do!” to our hardworking cafeteria staff.
· Finally, next week is Staff Appreciation Week. Please check out our Facebook or our Website for reminders of how your child can get involved and show their appreciation to our staff. They so deserve it. They work hard for your children daily and deserve our recognition. Thank you for helping us honor them.
