Hello Gulf Gate Families!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Gulf Gate families, we collected over 250 boxes of cereal for our Dominoes Cereal Challenge last week! Students worked together to build a giant domino chain throughout the school and watched as it toppled in an exciting chain reaction. Even better, every box has been donated to a local food pantry to help support families in our community.
We are so proud of our Tigers for showing that when we work together, we can make a big impact. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this such a meaningful — and fun — event!
Here are a few important updates for the week:
Student Arrival Safety
Parents, if your child walks or rides a bike or scooter to school, please remind them to go directly to the gate where they wait for Mrs. Weber to let them in. Students should not be playing in the area near the bus loop entrance, as buses arrive early and we want to ensure everyone stays safe.
STEAM Night – Wednesday, March 11
We are excited to host our STEAM Night this Wednesday from 6:00–7:00 PM! Families are invited to come experience hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math activities with your child. It’s always a fun and engaging evening, and we hope to see many of our Tiger families there.
Recognize an Outstanding Teacher

Spring Break Reminder
Spring Break is the week of March 16–20 and is followed by a Professional Learning Day for staff on Monday, March 23. Students will return to school on Tuesday, March 24.
Spring Break Challenge
Speaking of Spring Break, we have an optional Spring Break Challenge for students who want to help their class earn a pizza party with Principal Miller!
Students can help their class earn two PAWS for their classroom door:
1 PAW for Math: Completing IXL lessons
1 PAW for Reading: Reading at least 5 nights for 20 minutes
The classroom with the most PAWS earned at each grade level will celebrate with a pizza lunch with Principal Miller!
