Mission: Sarasota Middle School students will become critical thinkers who are responsible, productive, and resilient.
Vision: The Sarasota Middle School community collaborates to inspire and empower students by establishing high expectations.
Dear SMS families,
Fourth quarter progress reports were sent home on Thursday. Please log into Focus to check your child's grades.
If your child participated in Take Your Child to Work Day, the signed form must be uploaded in FOCUS. Every student who was absent on Thursday for this event was marked absent in FOCUS. Please upload the form as a regular excuse note. If it is not uploaded in FOCUS, it will stay unexcused.
8th Grade Parents: The dance and breakfast/yearbook signing are special events that require our 8th graders to adhere to the following expectations throughout Quarter 4:
Receive no more than one Disciplinary Event and Discipline Report in Quarter 4
Receive no In- or Out-of-School Suspensions in Quarter 4
Have no more than three (3) unexcused absences in Quarter 4
Show passing grades for all classes for the year
Show completed state assessments for promotion requirements
ALL students need to return library books, textbooks, and computers by May 8th
💛 Thank You for Being Our Partners in finishing the 25-26 school year strong.
