Dear SMS families:
Please consider contributing to our fundraising efforts to support innovative childhood cancer research through the month of September. Classrooms are collecting change or bills and any contribution is appreciated! We would love to see as many students as possible participate in our Go Gold Day on Friday, September 26th. Students can wear either yellow or gold to show their support.
We are asking that parents of students who ride e-bikes to school discuss side-walk etiquette to and from school. We have hundreds of students walking on sidewalks and it has come to our attention that some e-bike riders are engaging in unsafe actions, including speeding on sidewalks where pedestrians may be unaware of who is coming up behind them. We appreciate your attention to this matter.
