Vision: The Sarasota Middle School community collaborates to inspire and empower students by establishing high expectations.
Dear SMS families,
We know it takes effort to make all of this happen with busy schedules, early mornings, and real-life challenges. But your consistency—especially when it comes to attendance—has a lasting impact on your child’s success. This is especially true in Quarter 4. It's also important to monitor your child's academic performance.
As previously shared, on Thursday, April 23:
Teachers’ gradebooks will generate Progress Reports, reflecting the most recent and accurate grades at that time. On Monday, April 27:
Progress Reports will be published in the Focus Parent Portal and will be available for you to view.
Please log into the Focus Portal after April 27th to review your child’s progress and current performance in each class. Email teachers directly with any questions or concerns.
Families are encouraged to log into the Focus Portal on or after April 27th to review their child’s progress and current performance in each class.
We appreciate your partnership as we pilot this process and work toward a more consistent and timely way to keep families informed of student progress.
If you have any questions or need assistance accessing the Focus Portal, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
💛 Thank You for Being Our Partners in finishing the 25-26 school year strong.
