Dear SMS families,

We are seeing some great results from a preliminary examination of our students' performance on state-wide assessments. Currently, we see the percentage of students who have achieved proficiency at Math (84%), Science (79%), and ELA (81%). We are incredibly proud of our students and our staff for working so diligently to prepare for and take these assessments!

And to our mothers and grandmothers, whether you are a mom, a grandmother, or someone who fills that special role, your incredible love, strength, and care make a lasting impact on the lives of those around you. Thank you for all that you do—you are truly inspiring. We hope this Mother's Day brings you the recognition and joy you deserve.
