It’s registration time! Parents of existing Sarasota County School students will be receiving District email/text/calls about re-registration starting 4/18/24.
We are very excited about our new Student Information System, Focus, which parents will be using to enroll/re-enroll for SY24/25. This new system will become their parent portal, so it will be an all-encompassing program-no more snap-codes and within this system parents will be able to see grades, report cards, attendance, discipline and assessment data.
We will also be able to push out electronic forms such as field trip forms, parent consent forms and in the future the system will be able to allow parents to pay for school supplies, yearbooks, etc. so it truly will be a one-stop shop for the parents. The other benefit is that 47 other Florida counties, along with districts across the country are also already using Focus.
