What?
The following assessments will be offered during the Summer 2026 test administration:
• FAST ELA Reading Retake
• B.E.S.T. Algebra and Geometry EOCs
• NGSSS Civics, Biology and US History EOCs
Who?
The following students are eligible to test in the Summer 2026 window:
1. Any Grade 10 (cohort 2028), Grade 11 (cohort 2027) or Grade 12 (cohort 2026) student who has not met the ELA graduation requirement.
2. Any student who has not met the Algebra 1 graduation requirement.
3. Any student who took Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology, U.S. History or Civics in SY25-26 and did not take the EOC assessment for their final grade calculation.
4. Any student who has completed 80% of a virtual course in Algebra 1 or 1B, Geometry, Biology, U.S. History and/or Civics which requires an End-of-Course assessment for a final grade.
5. Any student who failed an EOC, but wishes to achieve a Scholar Designation upon graduation. To qualify for a scholar diploma designation on a standard high school diploma, a student must earn a passing score on each of the following statewide assessments: Geometry, Biology, and US History.
6. Any student who wishes to earn high school credit in courses required for high school graduation through the passage of an End-of-Course assessment (CAP): B.E.S.T. Algebra 1, B.E.S.T. Geometry, Biology, and US History.
Where?
The assessments will be administered at the following locations: Sarasota High School and Heron Creek Middle School.
Students will be able to select their preferred test location during the registration process.
When?
June 22, 8:00 am – FAST ELA Reading Retake
(Each session lasts for a minimum of 60 minutes and a maximum of 6 hours.)
June 23, 8:00 am – B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 and Geometry
(Each session lasts for a minimum of 80 minutes and a maximum of 6 hours.)
June 24, 8:00 am – Biology, US History and Civics
(Each session lasts for a minimum of 80 minutes and a maximum of 6 hours.)
How to Register for the Examination (Deadline: June 8, 2026)
Registration is OPEN. The deadline to register is June 8, 2026.
Students can register via the Sarasota County Schools website (sarasotacountyschools.net).

Once the registration is submitted, a message will confirm successful submission. A follow-up confirmation email with testing details will be sent on June 15, 2026.
