ALL:

·         Lost & Found items for this month will be donated this Wed., Sept. 30th. If you lost anything over the last few weeks, please stop by the School Counseling Office between 8:30am - 2:30pm.

·         Beautiful Booquets are on sale! Check your parent’s inbox, Miss Brown’s room, or the Front Office for forms. Send a little fall spirit to friends and family!

HIGH:

·         The Boys and Girls Varsity Golf Teams continue to enjoy solid seasons as they enter the final month of competition. The Boys had two solid wins this week. They shot their best team score of the season against Imagine School on Tuesday, and they followed it up with a 5-shot victory over Manatee on Thursday. The Boys are currently ranked 4th in their District and 12th in their Region. Tej Atluru has been playing phenomenal golf, and he is currently ranked 47th out of more than 1300 golfers in Florida's Class 1A. The Girls played a close match against Lemon Bay and Charlotte on Thursday. All three teams were separated by only 7 strokes. Although the Girls came in third, they continue to improve their overall ranking. They are currently ranked 4th out of 6 teams in their District and 14th out of 26 teams in their Region.  

·         Fall workouts for Varsity Tennis will be held each Wednesday beginning October 7. Anyone interested   in Varsity Tennis can participate as long as your Athletic Paperwork has been submitted and approved.  See Coach Robertson if you have any questions.

·         Attention, seniors! Senior Prep Day is this Friday, October 2nd. Please attend your regular first-period class and report to the Auditorium for second period; backpacks must be left outside the Auditorium. The morning will include Senior Notables voting, important senior information, and presentations from Florida State University and the University of Florida.

·         Mr. Pine View is returning on Oct. 9th at 6:00pm for another spectacular show! Pre-sale tickets open on Oct. 5th on the Auditorium steps for $15 and will be available the night of the show for $20.

·         Future Business Leaders of America meets this Friday, Oct. 2nd from 1:10-2:00pm in Purple Bldg. #111. Land internships, compete at Nationals, and lead before college! Don’t miss it!                                                                                                              

MIDDLE/HIGH:

·         Students interested in participating in STEM Fair must have project approval and forms turned into   Mrs. Flahavan before Oct. 21st. If you have any questions, or need help, please stop by.

MIDDLE:

·         Do you LOVE math and problem solving? You are encouraged to join MATHCOUNTS! Meetings will be held very Friday during lunch. 6th grade will meet in Ms. Puaschunder's classroom 17-120, and 7th and 8th grade will meet with Mrs. Vest in room 17-118. Please see Mrs. Vest or Ms. Puaschunder for a club permission slip!

·         MS Boys and Girls Basketball try-outs begin on Monday, Oct. 19th. The girls start at 7:30am and the boys after school from 4:15-6:00pm. Your Athletic Packet must be completed in order to try-out.

ELEMENTARY:

·         Are you ready for some fall fun and exciting games?  Join the Seniors, Class of 2027, for an afternoon of autumn booths, win prizes, candy, and create crafts at the Hooty Harvest!  Extra flyers are in the Front Office for registration! The Hooty Harvest deadline for registration is   Oct. 2, so be sure to turn in your paperwork and payment to your elementary teacher or the front office!
