·         This Wednesday, December 17^th look up at the roof and spot Mr. Sprinkle.  He will be spending the morning drop off and lunch periods on the roof of the Office because of the $3500 the school brought in for the Mayors’ Food Drive.  

·         Do you need a last-minute gift idea that fits your budget?  Our entrepreneurs in 2nd and 3rd grade are here to help.  We have our annual holiday bazaar beginning on Dec. 17-Dec. 18 and you can shop before school and during your lunch to purchase some adorable gifts.  We even gift wrap!  Be sure to pick up a shopper's guide from the office so you can plan and budget your money!  Hope to see you at the Holiday Bazaar!

·         Key Club will be selling Candy Cane Grams on the Auditorium steps during 7^th period. Send your friends a message with a sweet festive treat!

·         Thank you, PV and PVA for making the Foster Angel Program a success! This year we proudly sponsored 80 foster children! Special thanks to our generous sponsors, volunteers, and staff who were part of this program. Your compassion really makes a difference. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season! 

·         Operation Smile Club is selling winter themed stickers outside the Front Office during 7^th period this week. Proceeds will be donated to children with Cleft lip.

·         If you have lost anything in the last 6 weeks, please stop by the Green Bldg. #204 between 11:15am-1:30pm. Please make sure to stop by before Thursday. All items will be donated on Thurs., Dec.18^th.

HIGH:

·         Attention all seniors, graduation time may seem far away, but it's right around the corner! Make sure to think ahead and order your graduation yard signs now! Pick up a form from Ms. Melton, Ms. McLeod, or Ms. Grantham as soon as possible!

·         Varsity Tennis Tryouts will take place during the week of January 12-16th.  All Athletic Paperwork must be complete and submitted through Aktivate in order to be able to participate in tryouts.  Please see the PVS website under Resources for more information about the upcoming tennis season or stop by Room 17-121 to speak with Coach Robertson.

MIDDLE:

·         Attention class of 2030: Gradventure permission slips and chaperone packets will be available starting 12/8 in the front office. There are only 160 student spots available, first come first served, so don't wait to pick up a packet! If you have any questions, please contact Miss Higgins.

·         It's time to celebrate all your hard work with our end of the quarter Spirit Day called Merry and Mismatched!  All you need to do to participate is wear your favorite holiday attire including ugly sweaters, very merry tee shirts, or festively patterned socks on Wednesday, December 17th. If you join in, make sure to let your ELA teacher know because there might be a special treat just for you from the Middle School Student Council.

·         8^th Graders: Now is the chance to submit your design for our school's Gradventure shirt! Designs must include Pine View, Gradventure, 2030, and 3 colors in total. Please submit to the front office or to Mrs. Brown. 

·         If you are interested in taking the AMC 8 exam which will be held on Friday, January 23 during students' lunch period, please see the sign-up information on Mrs. Vest's classroom door. (Building 17 room 118). All registrations are due this Friday, December 19th. 

ELEM/MIDDLE:

·         Friday December 19^th is an elementary spirit day.   Wear your favorite holiday shirt, pajamas, or holiday pajamas!    We cannot wait to see your spirit!
