Welcome to Glenallen Elementary—North Port’s First and Finest!

I’m Mrs. Becky Drum, and it is my honor to serve as principal of this incredible school community. Since opening in 1984 as North Port’s first elementary school, Glenallen has continued to grow in spirit, excellence, and Panther Pride!

Who We Are

We serve approximately 750 Pre‑K through 5th grade students, supported by a dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to fostering both academic achievement and social-emotional growth.

Our Mission

Our goal is bold yet clear: to nurture a caring, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment where Every Student, Every Day can thrive. Through focused professional development and innovative instructional practices, we aim to continually elevate student performance.

Enrichment & Engagement

Beyond the classroom, Glenallen offers a rich variety of opportunities, including before/after‑school programs, STEM and literacy nights, clubs, arts, and athletics—ensuring each child finds their passion and place in our Panther family.

Family & Community

Glenallen thrives thanks to the active involvement of families and community partners. You are invited to become a Panther Volunteer, attend family nights, and engage in school initiatives—your role is vital to our collective success!
