Our first Spirit Night of the year will be held Wednesday, September 18th at the Venice Avenue Creamery! A portion of ALL sales that evening will go toward our PTSO Character Scholarship Fund, which provides graduating Seniors with scholarships to further their education.
Please tell your neighbors and friends to go get a sweet treat on Wednesday!

Our annual "Donuts With Grownups" will be held 9/24-9/26 from 8-8:30 in our cafeteria. Please return your RSVP form to the office by 9/20 so we know which day to expect you!
Next Monday, September 16th, is International Dot Day! Here at Garden your students have been reading the story of “The Dot” and have participated in several spotty, dotty creations! To celebrate this special day, we are asking students to get creative with their spotted “look”/outfit for the day! If uou have polka dot clothing- GREAT! If not, get creative and make something. Grab an old shirt and markers, tie dye, stickers, or anything else that you can decorate with! There may be prizes for our most creative outfits! About the book: International Dot Day is staged to encourage people of all ages to harness their creativity. The inspiration behind the event is the children’s book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The story behind this book relates the tale of a teacher who challenges one of his female pupils, Vashti (who thinks she cannot draw), to take courage in her abilities. As the story progresses, from a simple dot on a page, the youngster goes on to make her mark. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Publix on Venice Island and our generous PTSO provided a delicious lunch for our teachers and staff yesterday! THANK YOU for this quarterly luncheon! This was an amazing treat just before Spring Break!
