👮🏼♂️🏴🇺🇸On Wednesday, Officer Marc spoke with students at the Woodhall School in South Oxhey, Hertfordshire, England via a video chat. Back in November, 2 Officers from the Hertfordshire Constabulary spoke to 5th grade students here at EES and this time it was Officer Marc's turn to speak with students over there.
The students asked questions about life in FL, had he ever seen a gator, his role as an SRO, sports teams he liked, etc. Prior to the "meeting", the students in England had learned about Florida, Sarasota county, and Englewood.
Officer Marc now has a great relationship with PCSO's Ross Huegdon and Chris Baldwin from Hertfordshire Constabulary and with the Woodhall School Headteacher Michelle Lake. We hope to continue this with more virtual cultural exchanges between the schools.
