Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Booker.

It is an honor to serve as principal of a school where every student is cared for, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

As an A-rated Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) and Gifted Magnet School, we are committed to providing every student with a high-quality education in a safe, caring, and supportive environment. We believe students achieve their best when high expectations are paired with meaningful relationships and the encouragement to grow every day.

At Booker, students have opportunities to discover their passions through rigorous academics, our nationally recognized Visual and Performing Arts program, Sarasota County's only middle school Circus Arts program, gifted services, athletics, clubs, and leadership opportunities. Whatever their interests, we want every student to find a place where they can learn, belong, and thrive.

What truly sets Booker apart is our people. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to helping students succeed while creating a positive school culture built on respect, kindness, and pride. It's a place where students are challenged to do their best and supported every step of the way.

Whether you're a current family or considering Booker for your child, I invite you to explore our website and visit our campus. We would love the opportunity to welcome you, answer your questions, and show you what it means to Be Booker.
