Good Afternoon Alta Vista Families,
The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) begins this week for our students in third, fourth and fifth grades. The FAST will be administered 3 times a year and is used to measure the your child's progress based on the Florida Standards. These assessments are important because they tell our teachers what your child already knows and what they still need to learn to optimize their time learning. Please make sure your child is getting a good night of sleep and are arriving to school on time every morning, but especially those of testing days. Grade level testing days are listed below:
