Mr. Mark Grossenbacher – the current Principal of Woodland Middle School – has been selected as the first-ever Principal of Wellen Park High School! This will be effective on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and Wellen Park High School will open its doors to students for the 2026-2027 school year. Congratulations, Mr. Grossenbacher!

Throughout the month of April, North Port High School is hosting the traveling Boxcar Exhibit. This extraordinary educational experience is the only one of its kind in the world.
The exhibit has helped more than 250,000 students, educators, and community members across Florida gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust through an immersive, firsthand encounter with history.
A heartfelt thank you to the Holocaust Museum & Cohen Education Center for making this impactful opportunity possible for our students.
