Hello Gulf Gate Families!
We have so many exciting things happening at Gulf Gate that you’ll want to listen carefully to this week’s updates!
1. FREE Books Opportunity (Grades K–2)
If your child is in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, please be on the lookout in their backpack for a “Books Are Cool” flyer. This program offers families the opportunity to receive FREE books for their child. This is not a scam and is completely safe—be sure to register and see if you qualify!
2. BEST Writing Assessments (Grades 4 & 5)
Our 4th and 5th grade Tigers are taking their BEST Writing exams this week—Grade 4 on Tuesday and Grade 5 on Wednesday. We are so proud of our students and wish our amazing writers the very best of luck!
3. America 250 Celebration
We are excited to celebrate America 250 across the district next week! Be on the lookout for a flyer coming home soon with details on how your child can participate in honoring our great country.
4. Dress Code Reminder
As the weather begins to warm up, this is a friendly reminder that students should be following our dress code, including appropriate shirt and shorts length and wearing athletic shoes daily. Thank you for helping us reinforce this from home.
5. Staff Appreciation Week – We Need Your Help!
Believe it or not, our Tiger Tribe and administration are already planning for Staff Appreciation Week, which will be celebrated the week of May 4. No School Reminder
Just a reminder that there is no school this Friday, April 3.
