Sarasota County Schools is pleased to announce that Mrs. Brooke Teal – currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Triad Alternative School – has been appointed as the new Principal of Triad Alternative School.
“It is an honor to be selected as Triad’s new Principal,” said Teal. “I believe in creating systems that balance accountability with support. Working in partnership with our dedicated educators, Triad Alternative School will remain committed to maintaining high standards and expectations for our students that will help them grow and succeed.”
Mrs. Teal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. Teal has certifications in Social Science (6-12), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), and Educational Leadership (K-12).
Before assuming her current role as the Assistant Principal of Triad Alternative School in July 2025, Teal served as an Assistant Principal at Sarasota High School. In both of her assistant principalships, Teal led school discipline and safety efforts with a structured, student-centered approach. She has also served as a Program Specialist & Department of Juvenile Justice Liaison for the school district’s Office of Academic Intervention, a Behavior Specialist at Triad Alternative School, and a History & Civics teacher at Sarasota Middle School.
