Florida Prepaid College Board Open Enrollment for 2026 is now open, giving Florida families the opportunity to lock in future college costs at today’s plan prices. Enrollment will remain open through the end of April.
This enrollment season introduces a simplified plan structure and an enhanced online enrollment experience, making it easier than ever for families to choose a plan that fits their budget and goals. Plans start at just $29 per month and are guaranteed by the State of Florida.
New for 2026, Florida Prepaid now offers plans in one year, 30 credit hour increments, allowing families to start small and add coverage over time as their budget allows. A redesigned website and new Plan Builder tool provide personalized guidance to help families compare options, estimate costs, and enroll with confidence.
The 1 Year Prepaid Plan can be applied toward multiple postsecondary pathways, including Florida public universities, state colleges, career programs, private colleges, and eligible out of state institutions. Students have up to 10 years after high school graduation to use their plan, and plans remain valid even if a family moves out of state.

In addition, Sarasota County Schools is excited to offer three Superintendent’s Scholarships through Florida Prepaid, awarded to one fifth grade student and two graduating seniors.
