Sarasota County Schools is excited to host the next Parent University event, Tech Safety for Parents: Staying One Step Ahead & Keeping Kids Safe Online, on Thursday, September 25, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Sarasota Middle School.
This important session will feature Katie Greer, a nationally recognized expert on internet and technology safety. Greer will share practical strategies for parents navigating the challenges of raising children in a digital age.
Parents will learn how to:
• Stay informed about the latest technology trends and apps popular among children
• Engage in meaningful conversations with their children about online safety and responsible digital behavior
• Conduct digital health checks to support safe and balanced online use
The event is free and open to all Sarasota County Schools parents. Families may attend in person or participate virtually. Those wishing to attend virtually will receive a link after selecting “virtual” during registration.
