Sarasota County Schools invites all parents and guardians of students with an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) receiving Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services to participate in the annual ESE Parent Survey, now open through June 2025.
The survey is coordinated by the Florida Department of Education and is an important tool for evaluating how well schools are supporting students with disabilities and their families. Responses are reported to the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) as part of Florida’s Annual Performance Report and help guide improvements across the state.
Parents of students in preschool through grade 12 who are receiving ESE services (excluding gifted-only services) are encouraged to complete the survey. Students aged 18 or older may complete the survey on their own behalf.
To participate, visit bit.ly/ESEparentsurvey. If you need a paper copy or have questions, please contact the ESE Instructional Facilitator at your child’s school.
Your feedback is valuable and helps ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.
