Hello Tiger Families. Can we start tonight’s message with a huge thank you? Thank you to our Tiger Families who helped make Staff Appreciation Week amazing by sending in gift cards, donations, and helping your child to participate in the fun things we have all week this week. Our staff truly deserves a special week, and you have helped us make that possible. Thank you and help by reminding your child of the activities that we sent out in your email. Let’s see what is going on at GGES!
Congratulations to our students who have taken the FAST assessment last week! Grades 3-5 will continue to test in math this week and Grade 5 will end our testing season with a Science assessment on Tuesday, May 13th . The students have done an amazing job showing what they know and we can't wait to see their math smarts!
Calling all students entering grades K-2 next school year! The Summer Learning Academy is a free academic program to be held at Phillipi Shores Elementary by Gulf Gate staff. It includes transportation and 16 fun filled days of learning from June 4th to June 26th . Registration is available in your Focus parent portal. Space is limited to the first 24 students from each grade level, so register now! Please call the office if you have any questions. It’s FREE, it’s fun, and it’s educational. Hope to see you this summer.
Do you know that this is National Nurses Week and we have the BEST nurses in the area! Please remind your child to stop by the clinic and give Nurse Emily and Andrea a hug for all they do at GGES!
