Screening Details:
- Teachers/Staff are encouraged to schedule their mammogram during their planning period or lunch, if possible; however Employee Wellness will also pay for one ½ day floating sub for any coverage needed. Please let your office staff know if coverage is needed.
- Participants can schedule their appointment at www.3dmobilemammography.com and select “Sarasota County School System Locations”.
- 40 or older, no prescription or referral needed. Under 40 requires a doctor’s prescription.
- These are preventive, annual screening (wellness) mammograms covered 100% by Florida Blue insurance and other major insurance (no deductible or co-pay).
- No Charge for 3D mammogram.
- One mammogram per year.
- Appointments take as little as 10-15 minutes.
