SARASOTA COUNTY, July 20, 2022 – It is important that Sarasota County families, and all families in the state of Florida, know that the USDA did not extend free meal waivers for the 2022-23 school year. As a result, paid meals will resume. Families will need to complete a Meal Benefits Application to receive breakfast and lunch for free or at a reduced price.

2022-23 meal prices are as follows:

| Elementary: $1.50 | Elementary: $2.75 |
| Middle: $2.00 | Middle: $3.00 |
| High: $2.00 | High: $3.25 |
