Sarasota Virtual School (SVS) is Sarasota County School’s local accredited online option for students seeking enrollment in a full-time, tuition-free virtual environment.

Students enrolled full-time in SVS:

• Take a full schedule of 6 classes
  • Elementary students have 5 classes (4 core + 1 elective)
  • Seniors can take less than a full schedule if they only need a few remaining classes to graduate
• Follow the SCS school calendar (August to May)
• Participate in state testing, just like students in a brick-and-mortar school
• Graduate with a fully accredited diploma from Sarasota Virtual School
• Must meet academic eligibility requirements
