Parent Webinar: " The Anxious Child (for Students on the Spectrum or with Special Needs)” – April 16

SARASOTA COUNTY, March 28, 2020 – The presenter will discuss behaviors that are often common in anxiety disorders and recommend what parents should do if they are concerned about their child's emotional state as it relates to anxiety disorders. Additional strategies and easy-to-implement techniques to use when working with, or raising a child or adolescent, with anxiety or anxiety-related symptoms will also be shared. All strategies can be implemented both at school and home.

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) has partnered with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) to provide resources for families during this challenging time. This presentation will provide attendees with a detailed review of anxiety and anxiety related symptoms in children and adolescents.
