Course Sequence

  • NOTE: Students accepted into a Business Program, who have COMPLETED coursework in Digital Information Technology and have earned the Microsoft 2016 (or more recent) bundle certification, to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, may opt out of OTA0040 and move directly into the next course in sequence. Microsoft bundle certifications on versions prior to 2016 will NOT allow a student to be eligible for opting out of OTA0040.

    Program Overview (Learn More)

    The Business Management and Analysis Program prepares students for employment as manager trainees or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupational areas. The content focuses on broad, transferable skills of business supervision including communications, human resource management, bookkeeping and QuickBooks, insurance, business law, and computer applications. In addition, students learn the functions of management, forms of business ownership, organizational structures, ethics, government regulations in business, how to open and operate a business, and how to prepare business plans.
