The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida Construction Services Department has created an online database in partnership with VendorLink for our Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC).  PSSC Evaluators are now able to score electronically based on School Board Policy 7.71 & 7.71a.  

VendorLink is a user-friendly portal where businesses (architect, engineer, construction manager) can sign-up and register to receive future notifications of upcoming solicitations; large dollar volume projects, continuing services contracts, and annual certification of qualified professionals for construction related services.  Registered businesses can submit their RFP/RFQ electronically in CSD VendorLink Database and they will receive an email confirmation from VendorLink that their submission was received.

To submit qualifications for professional services, firms must be pre-approved and on our current Qualified Professional list. If your firm is not on this list, to be considered, firms must complete the following certification requirements:

• Current 2025 Qualified Professional List

• 2025 Qualified Professional Annual Certification Requirements | Legal Notice 11/1/2024 

• Public Entity Crime Affidavit

• Foreign Country of Concern Affidavit for Nongovernmental Entities

As of January 1, 2023, Florida Statutes, Chapter 50, revises requirements for posting public notices previously found in newspapers of general circulation.  Pursuant to Section 50.0311, Florida Statutes, a governmental agency may use the publicly accessible website of the county in which it lies to publish legally required advertisements and public notices if the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices on such website is less than the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices in newspapers.

In accordance with the Interlocal Agreement for Publication of Advertisements and Public Notices on Sarasota County's Publicly Accessible Website, approved by the School Board on October 17, 2023, and the Board of County Commissioners on November 14, 2023, the Sarasota County School District is now publishing public notices and advertisements on the Sarasota County Government website at the link above.
