Public Notices
Pursuant to Section 50.0311, Florida Statutes, a governmental agency may use the publicly accessible website of the county in which it lies to publish legally required advertisements and public notices if the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices on such website is less than the cost of publishing advertisements and public notices in newspapers.
In accordance with the Interlocal Agreement for Publication of Advertisements and Public Notices on Sarasota County's Publicly Accessible Website, approved by the School Board on October 17, 2023 and the Board of County Commissioners on November 14, 2023, the Sarasota County School District is now publishing public notices and advertisements on the Sarasota County Government website at the link above.
