School Choice and Student Assignment
Five Steps to Explore Options & Apply Online:
Step 1 – Determine your school zones based on your address.
Step 2 - Review student assignment procedures & school choice options.
Step 3 - Determine the appropriate application timeline.
The traditional School Choice (COE) application typically opens in February for the following year. The 2024-2025 application is currently closed.
· The Reassignment Application for Fall placement is typically open during the Spring of the prior school year. The Fall 2024 application is currently closed. Reassignments are limited to a set of qualifying factors and placement is based on space and availability by school and grade level.
Step 4 - Complete the appropriate application.
Step 5 - Monitor application status and take the next steps as directed.
Check email frequently & read all emails and communications completely and thoroughly.
