I. For purposes of this Policy:

A. "Family member" is defined as an individual's spouse, parent, child, brother/sister, grandparent, grandchild, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step-child, or any other member of his/her household.

B. "Supervisor" means an individual who directly supervises an employee or that individual's direct supervisor.

II. During the formal screening process an applicant, who may supervise or be supervised by a family member, will be eliminated from consideration unless the family member agrees, in writing, to voluntarily transfer.

III. No employee may transfer to a cost center if his/her supervisor would be a family member, or if the employee would be a supervisor of a family member unless.the family member agrees, in writing, to voluntarily transfer.

IV. No instructional employee or any employee who reports to a school administrator may be assigned to a school site at which a family member is an administrator.
