5.73 Person Standing in Loco Parentis to Student

In any case where a student under eighteen (18) years of age is not residing with his parents or legal guardians, the parents or guardians of the student must designate, in writing, to the principal of the school and the Superintendent’s designee, the person standing in loco parentis to the student. The person standing in loco parentis must show power of attorney for the student.
