5.36 Vehicle Use by Students

I. A student with a valid driver’s license may be permitted to drive his/her automobile to school provided a written consent of his/her parent(s), as defined by Florida Statues, and a written agreement to comply with all the School Board policies and school rules relating to student vehicles is filed with the principal or designee. Any student violating this rule, or any specific school policy related to the privilege of parking on campus shall be denied permission to bring his/her vehicle to school until such time as the principal or designee restores the privilege.

II. Each school shall develop guidelines to be used to implement this policy and submitted to Superintendent or designee for approval.
