Welcome to Sarasota High School, where tradition runs deep and excellence continues to define who we are!
Since 1913, generations of Sailors have walked these halls, carrying forward a legacy of achievement, pride, and service. Sarasota High School has been a cornerstone of the Sarasota community for well over a century.
Today, we honor that legacy while continuing to write the next chapter of our story. We are proud to be recognized as an "A" school by the Florida Department of Education, a reflection of our commitment to high expectations, academic excellence, and continuous improvement. This achievement belongs to an entire school community that believes every student can succeed and every day presents an opportunity to grow.
At Sarasota High, tradition and innovation go hand in hand. Students have access to exceptional opportunities through our Cambridge AICE program, MaST Research Institute, Circus Arts Conservatory, Agriscience program, championship athletics, award-winning arts, and numerous clubs and organizations. Among the many choices of pursuing college, military service, careers, or entrepreneurship, Sailors graduate prepared to navigate the future with confidence and purpose.
