Student attire at McIntosh Middle School should reflect that school is where the student is engaged in “the business of learning.” Student behavior is greatly improved when students are dressed appropriately for school. MMS has established a Dress Code that gives families flexibility in the way their child dresses. Please use good judgment when dressing for school and all school-related events. 

Dress code violators will be sent to the Dress Tank (located in the clinic) to receive appropriate attire. Students who use MMS Dress Tank attire are responsible for returning them promptly at the end of the day. Students who do not return clothing will be responsible for the cost of replacement. Repeat dress code violators may receive additional consequences, including before or after-school detention or
ISR.
