 It is with tremendous pride and excitement that I welcome our students, families, staff, and community to the 2026–2027 school year at Emma E. Booker Elementary. This year, we begin with an extraordinary accomplishment worth celebrating: Emma E. Booker Elementary is officially an A-Rated School!

 This achievement marks a historic milestone for our school and reflects the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of our students, staff, families, and community partners. More importantly, our “A” represents what is possible when a school community believes in its students, works together, and remains committed to excellence.

 This year, we are Rooted in Legacy. Emma E. Booker Elementary has a rich history and a powerful story, and we are proud to honor those roots while continuing to grow, achieve, and create new possibilities for every student who walks through our doors. Our roots are strong, our expectations are high, and our future is bright. While earning an A is an incredible accomplishment, our work does not stop here. Our commitment remains focused on providing every student with a safe, nurturing, engaging, and academically challenging learning environment where they feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through collaboration, collective responsibility, and data-driven instruction, our staff will continue building upon the practices that helped us reach this historic milestone.

 We also recognize that student success extends far beyond the classroom. Our families, volunteers, business partners, and community organizations are essential members of the EEB family. Your time, encouragement, resources, and partnership strengthen our school and help us provide meaningful opportunities for our students.
