Grievance Procedure

  • Students or applicants who feel that they have been treated unfairly, may appeal any policy, procedure or treatment by following the steps below.

    Step 1:
Discuss the issue with the teacher or counselor involved.

    Step 2:
If it is not resolved, discuss the issue with a Program Manager.

    Step 3:
If it is not resolved to the student's satisfaction, the student can file a written appeal with the appropriate Assistant Director.

    Step 4:
After the Assistant Director's review of all circumstances, the student may appeal the decision in writing to the Executive Director of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, and may request a hearing before a grievance committee appointed by the School District.
