Everyone wants the same thing: to be happy, healthy, and able to do what they want to do in life. However, these past many months have been challenging for all of us and have reshaped the way we live our daily lives. Like many of you, ACE has faced economic challenges because of the pandemic. Through all that, I am so proud of how our ACE team of staff and instructors has provided such a safe and reliable haven for our lifelong learners.

Here at ACE, we take health and wellness as seriously as you do. We have safety protocols, including social distancing and small class sizes, in place to make sure our campus stays safe. I am happy that many people are still taking advantage of our in-person classes, but also thrilled with the success of our online classes, which we rolled out last year. ACE live online classes allow you to connect, grow, and learn from anywhere. It’s truly “something for everyone.”

During uncertain times, it’s all too easy to slip into a sedentary routine and feel your brain go into neutral. We hear stories of students who are suffering from isolation and a lack of socialization. Prolonged loneliness brought about by social isolation is detrimental to people, especially older adults. We believe that health and wellness starts with mental stimulation and a positive attitude. Connecting in-person or even online with other like-minded individuals helps people to stay engaged. Learning is a lifelong process…we are never too old to learn something new!

    Stay safe and be well.
