    • Registration for 2021-2022 new students will open April 2, 2021

    STEP 1

    Determine which school district you live in:

    • If you do not know, click Find Your Attendance Zone
    • Next, click on “Attendance Zones” to search by your address
    • Type in your address to find your districted schools for Elementary, Middle and High School

    STEP 2

    Students enrolling for the first time in a Sarasota County school or Charter School should do the following:

    Complete the Online registration document at the links below:

    New Student Registration and Existing Student Re-Registration for the 2020-21 School Year
    Sarasota County Schools is encouraging all parents and guardians to begin registering first-time students, as well as re-register existing students, for the upcoming school year. Please note the following links and information, as they will assist parents and guardians with the registration of a new student or re-registration of an existing student for a traditional public or charter school in Sarasota County: 

    • Parents and guardians that did not participate in school choice, or who are not electing to send their student to their choice school, will need to determine their student’s attendance zone based on their residential address
    • First-Time Students must fill out a registration form - Please use Chrome browser
    • Existing Students must also fill out a re-registration form - Please use Chrome browser

      • SNAP codes for existing students were sent out beginning April 15th using the Family Access Portal email to the registering parent/guardian of existing students. Registering parents/guardians that did not have a Family Access Portal account will be receiving their student’s SNAP code in the mail soon

    STEP 3

    If a student is transferring from one Sarasota County school to another school or Charter School please bring to the new school:

    • Student withdrawal form from the previous school
    • Proof of residency with an address listed: utility bill and lease
