SARASOTA COUNTY, June 28, 2018 – Dr. Patti Folino has been named the new principal at Tuttle Elementary School effective July 9 and pending School Board approval. A Sarasota County Schools educator for 23 years, Dr. Folino joins the Tuttle school community from Brentwood Elementary where she served as assistant principal since 2014. “I am delighted that Dr. Folino will serve as the new principal at Tuttle Elementary,” noted Todd Bowden, superintendent of Sarasota County Schools. “Her tenure and reputation throughout the school district are unparalleled. Also, her passion for making a difference in our community is invaluable. She will do a tremendous job serving the diverse students, families and staff at Tuttle Elementary.”

“A genuine sense of gratitude best describes the way I feel being selected as Tuttle Elementary School’s principal,” commented Dr. Patti Folino. “I am fortunate to join the dedicated staff and Tuttle community to build on the vast opportunities they have created for their students and families.”

“Dr. Folino is an excellent selection to assume the principal role at Tuttle Elementary School,” said Christopher Renouf, executive director of Elementary Schools. “Patti brings a wealth of instructional and leadership experience as well as Title 1 expertise to the role. Also, she has a passion for early childhood education and believes strongly in establishing a solid foundation to build strong, confident and successful life-long learners. Under her guidance, the students at Tuttle Elementary will thrive.”
