Tuesday and Thursday Night School - 4:15pm-5:45pm
Tuesday Night School is a voluntary support for students to use computers at school to complete academic work. Students or parents can contact any teacher to ask to be signed up for a specific date.
Thursday Night School is an intervention for students needing extra time to complete work and a teacher wants to provide an opportunity to get things finished. When a student falls behind, the teacher will contact you to schedule a date for a student to attend.
All students must be signed up one day prior to the day of TNS attendance. For example, our first TNS is on Tuesday, 8/29. All students attending must be signed up by 5pm on Monday, 8/28. This ensures the teachers have time to organize materials for students. Please contact a teacher if you wish to have a student participate in TNS.
Bus transportation will be available beginning on Thursday, August 31st, with pocket drop-offs at Red Bug Slough, Gulf Gate Elementary, Locklear Park, and Robert Taylor Park.
Students participating will report to Mrs. Winemiller's classroom (3-205) immediately after 8th period. Ms. Matthews & Mrs. Winemiller will facilitate this program for the 2023-2024 school year.
