Beach Clean Up Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer efforts will focus on park improvements, beautification projects and/or the management of the natural resources within the park. Volunteer duties may include, but not limited to: litter pick-up, landscape maintenance and exotic invasive plant removal. Supplies and Volunteer Forms: Upon arrival, all volunteers should report to the registration table and check in. Volunteers are required to sign a Volunteer Service Agreement Form before participating in the event.
Select from the drop down which "Done in a Day" volunteer opportunity that you are interested in participating. You can select 1, 2 or 3 events. If you attend all 3, your name will be put into a raffle for a gift card.

Florida Pre-paid Scholarship
We’re pleased to share that Florida Prepaid is making four Florida 529 Savings Scholarships – valued at $1,000 each – available to four Sarasota County public school students to use towards their post-secondary education. Two of the Florida 529 Savings Scholarships have been earmarked for elementary-age students, while the other two Florida 529 Savings Scholarships have been earmarked for high school seniors. All eligible students who submit a complete application will be considered for one of the Florida 529 Savings Scholarships.

2021 Great American Cleanup - Volunteer Opportunity
- The first event will take place on Saturday, March 27 and will focus on special projects such as invasive plant removal, mulching and painting.
- The second event is scheduled for Saturday, April 17 and will focus on litter removal from local roadways, parks and beach areas.
