• CareerEdge is partnering with State College of Florida (SCF)  to offer a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.  The tuition-free class will begin Tuesday, March 23rd, and concludes Saturday, May 29th.  The training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Classes will be held at  SCF 7131 Professional Parkway East,  Sarasota FL.  


    This training is ideal for those who enjoy helping people and want to enter a career in health care by earning their CNA.  The program will also include CareerEdge’s Bridges to Careers soft skills training, resume assistance, and career coaching.

  • Saving Ourselves: Breast Cancer Awareness

    October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Bradenton/Sarasota (FL) Chapter of the Links Incorporated is committed to addressing the disparities that exist for undeserved women. 

    We are proud to announce our Saving Ourselves (SOS): A Workable Approach to Reduce Breast Cancer and Embrace Wellness” program.   This program consists of three components: education, community outreach and free mammogram services for underserved women.

    Please join us and  spread  the word about a virtual education program on October 23 from 12-1 pm.  There is also  a free mammogram event on November 20 from 8-3 pm. at the North Sarasota Library.
