I was born in Texas but grew up in Bradenton Florida.  I graduated from Southeast High School in 2003.  I got my Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from Tusculum University in Greeneville, TN in 2007.  I then attended the EPI Program at Hillsborough CC to get my alternative certification in Elementary Education K-6.  I am going into my 12th year of teaching.  This is my 6th year at Tuttle. Throughout my teaching career I've taught K, 1st, 3rd and 4th!  I've loved my time at Tuttle and I am looking forward to working alongside my partner, Mr. Loeffel, for a 5th year teaching ELA, Social Studies & Writing.

I've been married to my husband Tristan for almost 12 years.  He is a first responder here in Sarasota County.  We have 2 children.  Our son is in 2nd grade and our daughter is 2 years old.  I love football! Go Bucs!  I like watching movies, spending time with my family & friends, going to concerts, Harry Potter, going up to Tennessee to visit my best friend, trying different foods, The Office, tulips and traveling.  I hope to one day write and publish a children's book!

Hello Tuttle Turtles!  This is my first year as an educator in the Sarasota County School District and I couldn't be more proud to teach at the number 1 ranked school district in Florida.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Eucation at Central Michigan University where I focused on integrated science, reading in elementary grades, and early childhood development.  For the past 11 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, but can't be more exhilarated to meet my new 4th grade students and collaborate and work with the families, staff, faculty, and my team to make sure our students have a wonderful, productive, and fun year.  My family and I enjoy spending our time swimming, board games, music, riding bikes, and playing with our beloved pug and kitty.
