    Brianna Fah

Hello! 👋 My name is Brie Fah (pronounced “Fay.”) I have my bachelor’s degree from USF-Sarasota, and have been teaching 3rd grade for the past four years - my favorite grade! I am super excited to become a Tuttle Turtle this year and teach some amazing 3rd graders!

I was born in Colorado, but grew up in Sarasota. I love being outdoors, especially exploring nature parks or being near the ocean. I am a huge animal person, and a dog-mom to my precious Jovie. I love movies, books, chocolate, and all things Disney. And of course, I love teaching!! I am so ready to meet my students and make this an amazing year together 💚

My teaching adventure began after graduating from the University of South Florida! I was born and raised in Sarasota and I grew up going to Sarasota County schools. I enjoy spending my free time at the beach or doing anything with family and friends! I strive to make learning exciting and engaging. My favorite part about teaching is when I can see my students’ eyes light up as they understand and make connections with the concepts they are learning.

  • Cardel

    Olga Hernandez Cardel

My name is Olga Cardel and I am from Mexico City. Looking for a better future, I immigrated to the USA. When my son was in elementary school, I noticed the urge and importance of the bilingual teachers and the struggles that many families are facing when they don’t speak the language and they’re trying to communicate with the teacher. Then I decided to become and advocate for those families and students that are experiencing the cultural shock while struggling with the acquisition of the new language. I attended USF to get my degree while working full time at Tuttle Elementary. This school has been my house for the past 14 years, I started as ESOL Paraprofessional and now this is my second year as a grade level teacher. I am so privileged  to be part of this wonderful school and be able to fulfill my dream of helping families and students from diverse cultures.
