Before & After School Care

The goal of our Before and After School Care Program is to promote a positive, enriching, caring, and safe environment for all of our enrolled students.

Registration form and fees in the form of cash, check or money order must be turned in before registration is considered completed.  We are unable to accept credit or debit cards for payments.  If your student is a returning enrollee and you wish to check your account status, please email laverne.corzetto@sarasotacountyschools.net .

Program Overview

Homework Time or Reading- 1st-5th-grade group leaders and volunteers to offer advice and assistance on homework, but parents are encouraged to recheck their children’s assignments for completion and accuracy. Our program can provide a laptop computer for homework with prior arrangement.

Supper Club-This is a federal meal program that provides a nutritional meal to students who are enrolled in the After School Care Program.

Arts and Crafts- Arts and crafts inspire creative expression.  Twice a week, your child will be given the opportunity to do a craft activity.

Group Activities-Indoor games and toys improve cooperative play skills.

Outside Play-We promote outdoor activities to encourage a healthy lifestyle. The children use the playground equipment and basketball courts. Group play helps develop teamwork and self-esteem.

Computer- We provide computer lab on Fridays for free play.

Hours of Service

Before Care: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM

After Care: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Late fee after 6:00 PM is $1.00 per minute)
