• Request to Conduct Research in Sarasota County Schools

    Any individual who wishes to conduct research within the Sarasota County School Board (e.g. interviews, surveys, questionnaires, collect data, examine student records), even if required as part of a course, must get prior permission from the Sarasota County School Board’s Executive Director of The Department of Research, Assessment & Evaluation.  Federal law requires us to ensure that the rights and privacy of our students are protected.  Our school district wishes to also ensure that instructional time-on-task is minimally disrupted.
