    Welcome to Lamarque Elementary School, Home of the Lions!
    We are excited to welcome you to Lamarque. Take a look around our website or schedule a campus visit and you will discover that we are a student-focused and family-oriented 5-Star School and Community of Caring.
     
    Because children are at the heart of all we do, our talented staff is dedicated to providing a challenging curriculum that meets individual needs, supports student success and promotes academic excellence. We place a strong emphasis on superior quality instruction; we value the richness of diversity, and we hold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and ourselves. We believe in active learning and stretching students’ imaginations through hands-on exploration and inquiry-based learning.  Since we are a Title I school, we are fortunate to be able to provide individualized classroom support and offer a wide variety of family learning events. At Lamarque, we take pride in all we do, we bring purpose to learning and we achieve success in our performance. We continually strive to be respectful, responsible and safe. Throughout the year we celebrate and recognize student achievement in many ways. We also offer additional ways students can excel. Our students are able to participate in the student council, safety patrols, the morning news crew, and the Paw Print cub team. We have an amazing Chorus and Explorers Club. We are always in need of volunteer help, and we gladly welcome the support of our family and community members.
