Media Center Info
Media specialist: Mr. Jared Falgowski
The Media Center is open from 7:15 to 2:45 when school is in session
Along with our 25,000 books, we have many subscription databases, which
are available to students for use at school and at home.
Students must have an official library pass and a specific assignment
to come to the media center during the school day. Passes are not required
before or after school. All students must sign in and out on the media
center log.
Students who are not exhibiting proper media center etiquette will be
asked to return to class.
A picture ID is required to check out books. Books can be put on reserve
for a day or two if the student does not have his ID with him.
Students may check out two books for a period of three weeks. Books
must be brought back to the media center for renewal.
The fine on an overdue book is 5 cents per school day. Weekends and
holidays are not counted.
Overdue notices are sent out weekly to students through their English
teachers.
Students may NOT check out books for other students. This is done for
the protection of the students. (Students are charged for the replacement
of lost or damaged books checked out in their names.)
The media center computers are for school related assignments and projects.
Email, chat, etc. are not allowed.
