Oak Park PTSO is a voluntary group made up of parents, teachers, staff and community members.  We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Media Center at Oak Park School.  New members are welcome and encouraged.  The missions of the Oak Park PTSO is to enhance student and teacher's educational experience here at OP.  Attached here is the membership form.  It can also be found in the Resource section of the website.

Dear Oak Park Families, Staff, and Students:

Welcome to our Oak Park PTSO website. We've already completed our first quarter with very successful results.  To our new and returning families and staff, we extend open arms for joining us at Oak Park School.

Oak Park PTSO includes:  parents, staff and students.  We are a group of like-minded individuals that support various activities:  Staff Appreciation, Fall Festival, Open House, Classroom Requests, Angel Tree, Winter Festival, Valentine Dance, Prom, Bowl-a-thon, 3rd Annual Panther Prowl, Spirit shirts for students and staff among a host of other activities and projects that support students, staff, and families at Oak Park.

This year, Oak Park returns, "Back To the Basics:  The ABCs of Success...Academics, Behavior, and Communication."  Please feel free to share ideas about fundraising or any items that may be in the best interest of our school.  Everyone has a special gift/ talent to share, even if it's cutting lamination materials for a classroom or helping separate t-shirts for classrooms.  Our new officers for the 2014-2015 school year are: Debbie Ezelle, President, Dan Ezelle, Vice President, Karen Theise, Treasurer, and Cyndi Pelosi, Secretary.

Our Agenda for the rest of this school year:

Participation in Box Tops for Education-$1,100 earned last year so keep clipping and sending them in.

3rd Annual Panther Prowl - 4/29/16 at the pavilion at Oak Park from 10am-1pm.  Last year our Panther Prowl netted $14,600 and is our one major fundraiser. All students, staff, and volunteers receive a t-shirt from the event.  Information will be available soon.

Please consider joining out PTSO, $5 for individual membership, $8 for family membership though it is not a mandatory donation nor are you required to attend the meetings if you join.  You will receive emails of meetings and upcoming events. A great way to stay involved without being on campus. Thank you for being an integral part of our Oak Park Family:   Staff, Students, and Parents. We look forward to a very rewarding year.

 Kindest Regards,

Debbie Ezelle

Oak Park PTSO President
